Moa was born in 1995 one early February morning during the cold Swedish winter. After 16 years in Eskilstuna she started looking for challenges elsewhere and Stockholm became the first stop when she started studying dance. Moa has been dancing ever since she was little, when Ballet and Irish dancing helped her discover the wonderful world of performing.

After Stockholm, Moa has been finding her way abroad. Working in London as a nanny and then as a tour guide in both the Austrian and Swiss Alps.

She then decided to move to Edinburgh where she began her three year course in Professional Dance at MGA Academy of Performing Arts. All whilst also studying independent university courses in Marketing, Tourism & Wine, as well as taking on vintage modelling projects. 

After graduating Moa found herself staying in Edinburgh and started working at The Scotch Whisky Experience where she discovered the interesting world of Scotlands national drink. She then decided to document her journey through the whiskies of the world and started @swedishwhiskygirl.

She is currently building her own business involving flavour experiences, writing and content creation, whilst saving up to also do a Yoga Teacher Training.

Moa is always ready to take on new adventures all over the world and is excited to see what opportunities may arise.
